With the 81st Annual Bike Week rolling into Daytona Beach on March 4 and running through March 13, hundreds of thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts are expected in the greater Daytona Beach and Volusia County area for one of the largest motorcycle rallies in the world.

The city of Daytona Beach and the Daytona Beach Police Department is asking participants to use the following information for a fun and safe environment for everyone:

Traffic

- There will be multiple crowds at Daytona International Speedway, Main Street, Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, and Beach Street.

- When entering or leaving the beachside, use the Seabreeze/Oakridge or International Speedway bridges

- No excessive noise from loud pipes

- Proceed with caution in residential streets

- Police will enforce designated parking restrictions for residents and give access to visitors and businesses

- Officers will direct traffic if the area is crowded

Main Street

- Only motorcycles can use Main Street. Other vehicles must use separate routes.

- Officers may restrict the use of the Main Street Bridge during peak event times

- Side street traffic may become restricted, affecting Oleander Avenue, Wild Olive Street, Grandview Avenue, and Hollywood Avenue.

- Police may direct motorcycles who want to use Main Street.

Atlantic Avenue Road A1A

- Northbound: Turn west on International Speedway Boulevard and then north on Peninsula Drive. Avoid turning west onto Main Street from Atlantic Avenue.

- Southbound: Use the right lane. Turn west on Main Street, depending on the amount of traffic. If the street has traffic, turn south, and turn west on International Speedway Boulevard and then head north on Peninsula Drive.

Peninsula Drive

- Northbound: Remain on Peninsula and turn east on Main Street

- Southbound: Turn east on Oakridge Boulevard to Atlantic Avenue and then turn south to Main Street.

Beach Street

- Motorcycle parking only on Beach Street

- Heavy traffic around Indian Motorcycle Company

Daytona International Speedway

- Officers will direct traffic inbound and outbound

- Event signage will be on route

Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard

- Event visitors may use away major roadways

- Officers may restrict public parking areas

- Side streets near the eight hundred block of Bethune will be off-limits and closed for spectator safety

There will be no COVID-19 checkpoints for any Bike Week event, and the city is asking visitors to follow the latest Centers for Disease Control COVID-19 guidelines.
