American Airlines to Offer Daily Flights to Philadelphia and Dallas out of Daytona Beach International Airport.

American Airlines announced today it will add two new seasonal service routes to the Daytona Beach Airport. The new routes are Philadelphia (PHL) and Dallas/Fort Worth (DW).

Daily morning service is scheduled to begin in December until March and will include connections to many destinations served by American’s hubs in those cities.

Flights will be non-stop, and Business and Economy class seats will be offered.

According to a release, American Airlines is a great partner for the airport, and officials for the airport are excited to add these new service routes.

The decision to add additional destinations came with thoughts of further strengthening the airline’s offerings at DAB. The change will highlight the importance of regional airports like DAB.

The new service offerings will provide added options for residents, but could also help build tourism to the region, especially Daytona Beach itself. 

Through the American Clean Commitment, the airline is protecting passengers’ health during the pandemic with multiple layers of protection, including enhanced cleaning of American spaces in airports and its airplanes and enforcement of its face coverings policy. And in the coming months, American will be the first U.S. airline to start deploying SurfaceWise2, a breakthrough EPA-approved antiviral protectant. This antimicrobial surface coating will help protect passengers and crew members against transmission via surfaces, particularly on high-touch areas such as seats, armrests, tray tables, and overhead bin doors.
