Veterans across Volusia County will soon have easier access to benefits and services as the Veteran Services Division prepares to open a new Veterans Services office to cater to the needs of former and current members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their dependents inside the Deltona Regional Library at 2150 Eustace Avenue beginning Monday, July 17, 2023.

In commemoration, Volusia County is celebrating the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. on July 17, where two or more members of the Volusia County Council may be in attendance.

Hours of operation will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., where trained counselors will be available to assist with various veterans' benefits, including claims for compensation, hospitalization, vocational training, and other benefits and privileges.

In addition to the new location at the Deltona Regional Library, Volusia County's Veterans Services Division already operates offices in DeLand at 110 W. Rich Avenue, New Smyrna Beach at 717 W. Canal Street, and Daytona Beach at 1845 Holsonback Drive, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Individuals seeking further information about the new office or any other veterans’ services provided by Volusia County can contact the Veterans Services Division at 386-740-5102 or visit the official Volusia County Veterans Services website at https://www.volusia.org/veterans.
