To enhance community safety and emergency response capabilities, the Ponce Inlet Fire Department is organizing a free CPR class exclusively for Ponce Inlet residents. The class, led by a certified CPR instructor, aims to equip participants with essential life-saving skills and will take place on Wednesday, June 7th, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Community Center at 4670 S Peninsula Drive in Ponce Inlet.
The comprehensive training will cover crucial aspects of CPR, including airway management, chest compressions, and the proper application of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). These skills are vital in emergencies when immediate intervention can mean the difference between life and death.
The class size is limited to a maximum of 20 participants, and interested residents are encouraged to reserve their spot by contacting Deputy Chief Taylor at 386-293-0034, as spaces are expected to fill up quickly.
