Ormond Beach announces temporary road closure on Andalusia Avenue.

The City of Ormond Beach has announced that Andalusia Avenue will be temporarily closed to traffic between Hand Avenue and Fleming Avenue from April 10, 2023, to April 16, 2023. This closure is necessary to allow a contractor to carry out utility work in the area.

During the road closure, motorists will use detours on Parque Drive and Fleming Avenue as alternate routes. Motorists should plan their travel accordingly and expect some delays. Local traffic will be able to access businesses on Andalusia Avenue from Fleming Avenue.

When the utility work is complete the road will reopen, and normal traffic flow will resume. The City of Ormond Beach Engineering Division encourages motorists to drive safely and obey all traffic signs and devices when traveling through the work zone.
