2nd Annual Mayor's Gala

Event Description

In 2023, Daytona Beach Mayor Derrick Henry launched a new tradition in Daytona—the Mayor’s Gala, an annual night of philanthropy to end homelessness.

On February 3, 2024, we will gather as a community and build upon our tradition to celebrate and honor you, our First Step Shelter supporters, community leaders, corporate & faith-based partnerships, and municipal and county partners. Most importantly, we will celebrate our neighbors who took the first step down the pathway to housing and self-sufficiency.

The Second Annual Mayor’s Gala is a black tie optional, festive celebration, with interactive entertainment all inspired by Classic Hollywood Glamour.

The evening will include a cocktail reception, dinner, honoree awards, entertainment, and a program highlighting the work of the First Step Shelter.
