9/11 Remembrance Memorial

Event Description

The Town of Ponce Inlet has prepared a memorial display to remember the victims and the survivors of September 11, 2001. We invite all citizens to pay their respects at our fire department between 8:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. on September 11. This display will include memorial wreaths on the lawn of the fire station in recognition of the 2,508 citizens, 343 firefighters, 77 police officers, and 55 military service members that lost their lives that day. The American flags will be posted at half-staff throughout the Town.
