Daytona Beach Police Department investigating homicide off Jean Street.

On Sunday, September 10, the Daytona Beach Police Department swiftly responded to a harrowing incident at approximately 11:45 p.m., when law enforcement received an urgent call regarding a stabbing at a residence off Jean Street.
Upon receiving the distressing call, officers from the Daytona Beach Police Department rushed to the scene to assess and address the situation, where they found the victim, identified as Donnell Williams, 24, lying on the floor covered in blood, suffering from a grievous gunshot wound, not a stab wound.
Williams received immediate transport to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
