Around 12:30 p.m. The Daytona Beach Police Department received reports of shots fired at Mainland High School campus in Daytona Beach.

The campus went into immediate lockdown procedures, while officers flocked to the scene.

Detectives confirmed that there was no active shooter on campus, but they did find used firecrackers located in a stairwell on campus.

At this time the DBPD is currently investigating the incident and has no leads on any suspects. No injuries were reported and the campus has been cleared.
