Speedway Custom Photo Lab

Speedway Custom Photo Lab is a full-service imaging center, located in the heart of the fastest growing part of commercial Daytona Beach, directly across from Daytona International Speedway. The business, founded in 1984, has seen major expansions approximately every three years, as technology improvements have enabled dramatic enhancements in products and services.

The lab began its digital offerings early, providing enlargements, restorations, negatives, and slides from digital files or images that could be scanned into digital files. By 2001, we had progressed into large-format printing for both photographic (silver halide) prints and archival ink jet prints. Chromira photographic prints are the highest quality prints on Fuji Crystal Archive paper. Pigment ink jet prints provide Giclee Fine Art Reproduction on Watercolor Paper or Canvas, as well as poster prints. We produce photographic output up to 30 inches, 100 feet, and pigment ink jet output up to 44 inches wide, as long as 69 feet. A 72” flatbed UV printer used for making large signs, banners, and wall murals. Our newest addition is a 63" EpsonGS600 solvent printer is designed to exceed all print quality expectations.

The finishing area provides mounting, laminating, trimming, and packaging. We ship anywhere in the world.

Classic services continue to provide 1 Hour Photo and Slides, Enlargements, and darkroom Black & White film developing, as well as CDs, DVDs, Passport Photos, and Portraits.

Our custom framing is well known for the best in classic or archival framing with very fast service. The top of our line includes frame molding from Larsen Juhl and Museum glass from Tru View. We service retail consumers as well as commercial and corporate accounts.

Approximately 70% of our business is professional and commercial. We work for corporate art departments as well as advertising and modeling agencies. The line of services includes display prints, backlit displays, posters, POP displays, short-run brochures, headshots, comp cards, and business cards, as well as signs, graphics and trade show displays. A substantial portion of these orders are received electronically and shipped directly to end customers without the agency ever having to intervene in the process.
