Daytona Beach’s POP unit arrested a man and a woman after discovering an illegal drug operation inside their home. The suspects, Keldron L. Waddy and Johnneia J. Marimon, are facing several drug-related charges, including trafficking.

According to a release, members of the SWAT team raided the residence off Bishop Butts Circle in Daytona Beach, around 5:44 p.m. yesterday, executing a probable cause search warrant signed by a Volusia County judge.

“Our officers did great work bringing these two into custody,” POP Captain Scott Lee said. “We found three different kinds of illegal drugs in the home and evidence that they were using the home to help them sell drugs on the street.”

A Volusia County judge signed a probable cause search warrant for Daytona’s SWAT team to raid the home. The officers found 553 grams of cannabis, 6.1 grams of morphine, 1.5 grams of fentanyl, and materials packaging the drugs. They also found three cell phones and hundreds of dollars in cash on Waddy.

The POP also discovered that Waddy violated a no-contact order from Seminole County. A judge court ordered the man to stay away from Marimon after shooting her in the parking lot of an apartment complex. However, Waddy lived with Marimon and registered the home as his living address.

Both drug dealers are currently in Volusia County Branch Jail with felony charges of trafficking and unlawful possession of drugs. Police also charged Waddy with failure to register as a career offender, violation of the no-contact order, and ownership of ammunition by a convicted felon.

Marimon faces misdemeanor charges of giving false information to the police and harboring a career offender.
