The Daytona Beach Police Department has been in the midst of a two-month-long operation with the Special Investigation Unit, codenamed Halloween Round-up, which concluded Wednesday, October 26, 2022. Throughout Operation: Halloween Round-up, detectives executed two search warrants, which resulted in the apprehension of six suspects, the arrest of nine people on outstanding warrants, and the seizure of the following:

  • 497.9 grams of cocaine
  • 10.3 grams of crack cocaine
  • 34.9 grams of fentanyl
  • 75.1 grams of cannabis
  • 10.7 grams of heroin
  • 4.4 grams of MDMA
  • A total of $4,021

According to a release, there are still ten suspects with active drug warrants, as the department could not locate them yesterday.

The operation’s success is a testament to Daytona Beach Police Department’s partnership with the State Attorney’s Office. The Police Department would like to thank all units participating in the operation and ASA Dan Jancha.
