Daytona Beach Police Department concludes Operation: Halloween Round-up.

The Daytona Beach Police Department has been in the midst of a two-month-long operation with the Special Investigation Unit, codenamed Halloween Round-up, which concluded Wednesday, October 26, 2022. Throughout Operation: Halloween Round-up, detectives executed two search warrants, which resulted in the apprehension of six suspects, the arrest of nine people on outstanding warrants, and the seizure of the following:
- 497.9 grams of cocaine
- 10.3 grams of crack cocaine
- 34.9 grams of fentanyl
- 75.1 grams of cannabis
- 10.7 grams of heroin
- 4.4 grams of MDMA
- A total of $4,021
According to a release, there are still ten suspects with active drug warrants, as the department could not locate them yesterday.
The operation’s success is a testament to Daytona Beach Police Department’s partnership with the State Attorney’s Office. The Police Department would like to thank all units participating in the operation and ASA Dan Jancha.
