Ormond Beach announces road closure for South Old Kings Road.

The City of Ormond Beach Engineering Division has announced that South Old Kings Road will be closed to through traffic from March 13, 2023, to March 19, 2023, to allow for the install the necessary utility connections in the area.

During the week-long road closure, traffic will use a detour on South Orchard Street and Division Avenue. Motorists should expect some minimal delays as a result of the detour. However, residents affected by the closure of South Old Kings Road will lose access to West Granada Boulevard, so motorists should use Hammock Lane or Division Avenue to join the detour route.

The city also reminds drivers that the Reflection's Village Gated Community has privately owned roads and is not a detour route.
